In 2016, Barton Perreira proudly introduces the newest addition to their family: Allied Metal Works, a collection created by veterans of design, fashion and function that will stand alone, creating its own category in the field. This collection, and its detailed human engineering, will truly stand out as the first “Technical Luxury” brand in eyewear. This project has been four years in the making. When Gunnar Gunnarsson introduced his concept of a screwless eyeframe connection to Bill Barton, Barton was inspired by the possibilities.

 

Realizing the passion and vision they both shared for innovative technology, they immediately set out to create a groundbreaking collection that appeals to a fashion audience with an appetite and appreciation for technical design. Along with Patty Perreira, this is the creative core that studied, developed, and designed what the world will now know as Allied Metal Works.
